Mike's journey at AJP began as an apprentice in 2000 alongside his academic pursuit at Liverpool John Moores University. Progressing from apprentice to Senior Technician, Mike has gained skills and confidence, with a bank of experience across a myriad of construction approaches, from concrete and steel frames to loadbearing masonry and timber construction.

In recent years, Mike has been immersed in the Healthcare sector, contributing to projects from initial design schemes to handover. His exceptional communication skills facilitate seamless collaboration with design teams, subcontractors, and site operatives, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule while meeting client needs.

Mike's awareness of sustainability practices, such as BREEAM certification and embodied carbon reduction, underscores his commitment to delivering environmentally conscious solutions.

    Mike enjoys a healthy lifestyle, keeping fit and being outdoors whenever possible. He has sucessfully competed in many endurance events/challenges and is currently in training for an ultra endurance event this summer!
