Lee began his career journey as a Civil Engineering Assistant after completing his degree. Over just five years, he honed his skills and rose to become the primary Civil Engineer in the South West of England for Bovis Homes in residential developments. Lee subsequently joined the team at AJP and expanded his expertise across various sectors, including residential, leisure, commercial, and healthcare.


With a strong foundation in 3D ground modelling hydraulic and drainage design, Lee excels in the residential sector of Civil Engineering. He ensures that he remains at the forefront of engineering practices, regularly attending CPD seminars to keep up with the ever-changing needs within the industry. 


Lee now trains junior staff members at AJP in highway design and 3D ground modelling with his 10 years’ experience of using the software. His friendly and approachable demeanour, coupled with his extensive knowledge and versatile skillset, position him as a valuable asset to the team. His dedication to professional growth and willingness to share his expertise with  colleagues exemplifies his commitment to excellence in civil engineering.


Key Skills
Preliminary Design: Lee demonstrates proficiency in preliminary project design, identifying and overcoming site constraints, and undertaking highway and drainage design.


Site Assessment: Lee possesses strong skills in early site-wide issue assessment, particularly regarding flood risks, with a comprehensive understanding of design element interactions.


Software Proficiency: Lee efficiently utilises various software packages, including Windes and PDS, to ensure timely completion of tasks aligned with client requirements.

  • Hobbies & Interests

    Lee hits the gym daily to keep pace with his two sons, whose hobbies have essentially become the focal point of his social life! Naturally the sporty-type, Lee has previously represented Liverpool in national basketball matches and played handball internationally, proudly representing England in numerous competitions across Europe.
