James joined AJP in September 2021, after gaining practical experience at Kier Professional Services and earning his Civil Engineering degree from the University of Liverpool. His diverse background includes roles such as Safety Manager for a project constructing a 1:9 scale model of the Gherkin at the Constructionarium in Norfolk, as well as hands-on experience in construction projects like erecting roofs and outfitting underfloor heating systems.

Since joining AJP, James has focused on Education, Healthcare, and Residential projects, applying his varied experiences and recent qualifications to his work. His friendly and diligent approach to projects includes proactive problem-solving and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Currently, James is pursuing his incorporated engineer status with the Institute of Civil Engineering through the ICE mentoring route, further enhancing his engineering skills and deepening his understanding of the civil engineering industry.
